Profile PictureGuitar Meets Science

Hey there, I'm the face behind "Guitar Meets Science" on YouTube (youtube.com/@guitarmeetsscience), where my passion for guitar and love for science come together! As a professional guitarist, I've toured the world and recorded with big-name acts, but I'm also a Senior DSP engineer with extensive knowledge in algorithms, machine learning, and spectral analysis. My journey with the Stereo Sound Extractor began years ago when I couldn't find a tool to separate audio tracks. With zero coding knowledge, I experimented and cobbled together unconventional methods to achieve my goal. One of my proudest achievements was manually separating Elvis' voice from "That's Alright Mama" by editing a spectrogram for three weeks, harmonic by harmonic, until I had a perfect acapella version. This experience inspired me to dive into the world of coding. Although my initial attempt at taking coding classes didn't go as planned, I pursued a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. Throughout my studies, I continued to develop the Stereo Sound Extractor in various forms, eventually creating a software and hardware version that won me an award in the Senior Design Competition before graduating. After receiving numerous requests, I finally decided to make the Stereo Sound Extractor available to the world. I'm thrilled to share this innovative product that combines my love for music and science, and I can't wait to see the incredible things you'll create with it!
